Whole milk or 2% milk?
Honestly, I'm looking for reasons to switch to whole milk. While doing some research to make me feel good about the switch, I found an article to my liking that said: "women who regularly eat whole milk or other full-fat dairy products gain 15%-30% less weight over a ten year period" (Reinagel, 2007) ( American Journal of Clinical Nutrition).
That's exactly what I wanted to hear. No doubt, there were plenty of other articles which said non-fat was better. All in all, what I found most interesting was that, with fat artificially removed, so were all the natural vitamins found in milk. The fat in whole milk also helps control hunger, hence helps you maintain a controlled diet. However, whole milk is mostly recommended for those with no existing health issues....
I have two choices. I can switch back to whole milk, or stick to my 2% and be happy with it.
I think I need to do more research.
